Aspiring literary translator

Working full-time as solely a musician was never what I aspired to do; I believe when music is integrated with other aspects of humanity, it remains vital.. Anyway, when I graduated from conservatoire two years ago, I decided to pursue an MA equivalent qualification in languages. As part of my self-taught training as a Spanish-English translator, I decided to combine two loves of my life: the Spanish language & poetry! It makes a great contrast from translating law + news which are 2/3 components of the course. Each Monday (for as long as I have the willpower) I'll be posting my own translations of Spanish poems that have touched me over the years.
